Resonance of the Sea - Sunset Sound Bath at Poltu Bianco, Sardinia
- Mar 31
- 2 min read
This session was recorded at Spiaggia Poltu Bianco, near Valledoria in northern Sardinia.
At sunset.
The sea is not a background here.
It sets the pace.
Waves arrive in steady intervals.
Wind moves across the surface.
Light changes slowly.
Everything is already in motion before the first tone begins.
The Place
There is no separation between the sound bath and the environment.
The bowls do not sit on top of the landscape.
They enter it.
Each tone meets the movement of the sea.
Sometimes it is carried.
Sometimes it disappears.
Nothing is fixed.
Everything shifts.
Before You Listen
This short introduction offers context for the session.
A few words about how to approach the sound, and what to pay attention to.
The Session
The sound bath itself follows the rhythm of the place.
There is no attempt to control the environment.
The bowls create sustained tones.
The sea responds with constant movement.
Between both, a field of sound emerges.
What This Session Supports
This session can support a shift from mental activity to physical awareness.
The repetition of the waves, combined with the sustained tones, can help reduce internal noise.
Attention moves away from thoughtand returns to the body.
Breath becomes more regular.
The nervous system settles.
Not because something is forced.
But because there is nothing demanding your attention.
Letting the Sound Work
You don’t need to follow anything.
You don’t need to understand what is happening.
Let the sound move through you.
Stay with your breath.
If something feels unfamiliar or intense, simply remain present.
There is no goal.
Only the experience itself.
Sunset
As the light fades, everything becomes quieter.
Not silent.
But reduced.
The sound follows that change.
Less defined.Less separate.
Until it dissolves into the space it came from.
Listening
Best experienced with headphones.
