The Herb
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) grows wild on the sun-exposed macchia hills of Sardinia. Its resinous needles carry an intense pine-citrus scent and are rich in essential oils.
Known as the “herb of remembrance,” rosemary connects mind and earth and promotes clarity, especially after meditation.
 
Traditional Use
In Mediterranean folk medicine, rosemary has been known for centuries for its circulation-stimulating and warming qualities. It may also be applied during cold symptoms by gently massaging the balm onto the chest and back.

The rosemary is infused in olive oil to gently extract the plant’s properties. The oil is lightly warmed in a water bath, beeswax is melted into it, and the balm is poured into brown glass jars.
